I am an OTRS volunteer and I am publishing these free educational resources on behalf of Asev. Please note that a text version of the files is available! But unfortunately it cannot be uploaded on Wikimedia sites since MediaWiki does not accept .doc or .odt files. So if you are interested in developing this textbook, do contact your local OTRS volunteers to get the files, and in the meantime please improve the description page or fix the credits part, you're more than welcome. Normally, the authors of a project publish their own work on wikibooks. Why don't they do that in this work?

Each wikibook user – included yourself, I suppose – is writing in his leisure time. I don't understand why the authors expect other people to do their work.

OpenOffice programs offer the Wiki Publisher that enables to export an odt file to a WMF project. Therefore the original authors are able to create the book's chapters by their own.

I set the Template:Buchkandidat on the project site but I'm not hopefully that anyone else but the original authors will develop this textbook. -- Jürgen 12:40, 22. Mär. 2013 (CET)

Hi :) You are right, normally everybody does what he/she can, but as you know institutions are not really familiar with wiki publishing, and it would have been a waste if the community could not have this book just because the institution did not know how to publish it, so I acted like a proxy (which is a common practice in people helping GLAMs). I am aware that there are tools to convert the text, but if you read the PDF you'll see that there are also tables, pictures and other elements that usually mess up the conversions :/ I will give it a try anyway, since surprisingly they are also available to help by learning proper wiki-formatting of the text, if anybody managed to put it online. --Elitre 17:50, 23. Eher nicht. Sie sind zwar alle noch erreichbar (wobei ich dahingestellt sein lasse, wie schnell). Diese Seite gehört offensichtlich zu den vielen Hilfe- und Projektseiten, die aktualisiert werden sollten. Wenn ich auf ein Lizenzproblem aufmerksam (gemacht) werde, verweise ich allgemein auf Wikipedia. Der dort genannte allgemeine Email-Kontakt hilft auf jeden Fall weiter. -- Jürgen 20:38, 22. Kein Lizenzproblem. Ich wollte die Datei(en) einfach nur haben :-) Soll für eine KLasse angehender ITler sein, die mal an einem lebenden Beispiel Machbarkeit abschätzen sollen, geeignete Werkzeuge eruieren sollen und ggf. die Konvertierung durchführen sollen (Keine Sorge. Die werden hier nicht direkt tätig). Für Letzteres kann ich aber nicht garantieren. Ok, ich werde mal den Ersten in der Liste, John N., anschreiben. Besonders eilig ist es nicht. Habe auch parallel die VHS Cham und ASEV angeschrieben.

Obwohl, so eine PDF-Datei mit allen Logos und Fotos einfach so unter CC BY-SA ... Da hat man etwas den Eindruck, jemand hat nicht ganz die Tragweite der Entscheidung erkannt. --Jan 21:10, 22. Jul. 2013 (CEST)

Keine Bange, ich weiß ja, dass du hinsichtlich URV-Problemen wachsam bist. (Deine Aufmerksamkeit vermisse ich sehr.) Ich hatte nur zum Ausdruck bringen wollen, dass ich im Falle eines Falles den direkten Kontakt über eine dieser E-Mail-Adressen vorschlage - unabhängig von Kontaktpersonen aus de-WB. -- Gruß Jürgen 09:49, 23.
