208. Zu dem unbestimmten Pronomen "iu" gibt es das unbestimmte Adjektiv "ia" (irgendein(er), eine Art, eine bestimmte Art). Es drückt die unbestimmte Qualität oder Eigenschaft einer Person oder einer Sache aus:

- Es ist irgendein Vogel auf diesem Baum. |
| Mi vidis iajn ostojn sur la tero. |
- Ich sah irgendwelche Knochen auf dem Boden. |

209. Zu dem unbestimmten Pronomen "iu" gibt es das unbestimmte Adverb des Ortes "ie"( irgendwo, überall, an irgendeinem Platz). Für Bewegungen in eine Richtung wird der Akkusativ "ien" (irgendwohin) gebraucht (121):

- Irgendwo in diesem Wald ist ein Löwe. |
| Ie malantaŭ la soldatoj vi trovos amason da kugloj. |
- Irgendwo hinter den Soldaten wirst du einen Haufen Patronen finden. |

- Die Schwalbe flog irgendwo hin. |
| Mi iros ien, sed mi ankoraŭ ne scias kien. |
- Ich gehe irgendwo hin, aber ich weiß noch nicht, wohin. |
[Bearbeiten] Adjektive als Prädikate von Objekten
210. Ein Adjektiv kann in einer prädikativen Beziehung zum direkten Objekt eines transitiven Verbs, sowie Adverbialobjekt eines intransitiven Verbs (19) stehen (z.B. Adverbialobjekt "auf dem Stuhl" zum Verb "sitzen"). Solch ein adjektivisches Prädikat (21) stimmt mit dem Objekt in der Zahl überein, bleibt jedoch im Nominativ; es wird also kein "-n" angehängt. Das Prädikat gibt das Ergebnis der Handlung auf das Objekt, die Bedingung, die Qualität oder den ursprünglichen Zustand des Objektes an::
| Li faris la mondon feliĉa. |
- Er machte die Welt glücklich. |
| Mi lasis la knabon trankvila. |
- Ich ließ den Jungen in Ruhe (unbeeinträchtigt). |
| Mi trovis la truon farita. |
- Ich fand das Loch bereits gemacht. |
| Mi lasis ilin punitaj. |
- Ich verließ sie bestraft (sie wurden bestraft). |

211. Ein Substantiv kann in einer ähnlichen Beziehung nach einem transitiven Verb, sowie nach einem intransitiven Verb (20) verwendet werden:

- Sie nannte ihre Tochter Maria. |
| Oni elektis tiun reprezentanto. |
- Man wählte diesen (Mann) zum Vertreter (Repräsentanten). |
| Mi vidos lin venkinto. |
- Ich werde ihn als Sieger sehen. |
| Mi trovis lin ŝtelisto. |
- Ich halte ihn für einen Dieb. |

[Bearbeiten] La ĉevalo kaj la sonorilo.
Unufoje en malgranda urbeto ("Kleinstadt") en Italujo, la reĝo, kiun oni estis nominta Johano, metis grandan sonorilon en la vendejon. Li anoncis ke ĉiu plendanto pri maljusteco havos la rajton alvoki ("herbeirufen") juĝiston per tiu sonorilo. Tiam la juĝisto faros proceson en la juĝejo pro tiaj plendantoj. Oni multe uzis la sonorilon, laŭ la anonco de la reĝo, kaj multe da plendantoj ricevis justecon. Sammaniere, granda nombro da maljustuloj estis punata per ĝia helpo. Kiam okazis ke iu homo montris sin maljusta al alia, ĉi tiu anoncis la aferon per la oportuna sonorilo. Kiam iu faris la edzinon malfeliĉa, la sonorilo tuj sonoris por anonci ŝiajn suferojn, kaj por alvoki la juĝiston. Fine, oni tiom uzis la sonorilon justecan, ke la ŝnurego ("Seil") estis tute eluzita, kaj ĝia lasta uzinto okaze forrompis ĝin.
