The Skye Boat Song

Das Lied erzählt, wie Bonnie Prince Charlie, als Dienstmädchen verkleidet, nach der Niederlage seines Jakobitenaufstands im Jahr 1745 mit Hilfe von Flora MacDonald in einem kleinen Boot zur schottischen Insel Skye entkam.
